Wheel open

There were two aerial displays in Portobello today. At 1100 the Big Wheel finally opened to the public at £5 a shot. During our beach walk the wheel remained empty and static. By chance we found out that the delayed Red Arrows VJ fly past was to take place this evening. We watched them from the house as they flew in over the sea and “smoked on” across the Porty skyline towards the Castle. The low sun marred my attempts to get a good photo though!
