Time out

I hit the beach for half an hour to clear my head at lunchtime. I spotted these two, clearly also taking some time out to ponder life, the English Channel, everything... 

A word about gulls. They are the soundtrack to my mornings. They have a lot of fluffy offspring currently, who stop for a rest in the middle of the road or pavement, almost tripping you up. I confess to being quite fond of these birds, which seem to live quite peaceably among the population here.
