Naked Vines....

Maisie and I walked a favourite route early this morning. A nice sunny start to the day, albeit with some high cloud adding interest to the sky. (Just as well to enjoy the sun because it clouded over and rain, sometimes heavy, set in during the evening.) We walked the track alongside the Meadowbank Station vineyards. The vines are naked but neat and tidy after pruning. A friend called in during the afternoon to collect the Marlborough Tramping Club photographs. I have been judging the photos for their annual photographic Competition. There are some very talented photographers amongst their members.
