Thunderstorms

I woke up about 3:45 this morning from the lightening flashes that were illuminating our bedroom. I heard a little rumbling thunder as well, but I fell back asleep. Got up at 6:45 for a 7:00 grocery pick-up, then drove to my friends’ house to drop off an item she asked to borrow. I knew she’d be at work so I put it out of the rain on her front porch, and as I ran back to my car, I saw this house out across the corn field. I backed my car out & drove to the end of the road—my friends’ house is the last one before the road stops at the field—& just then the wind kicked up & the rain poured down harder, so I shut the windshield wipers off, took this through the rain, & really liked the effect. I DO love a good storm, & we needed the rain because everything was pretty dry. :))
