From Beneath, It Devours (back blip for Fri)
I usually pass this building on my cycle into work. From the second floor up, it looks like any other London office block of its age; a grid of windows, walls that meet at whatever angle the surrounding roads dictate rather than the less imaginative 90 degrees, and a few small balconies stuck on the side to give it 'character'.
From the first floor down, however, it looks as though it's been eaten by piranhas. Workmen have chipped away at the masonry, leaving a skeleton of supporting steel.
I wait with interest to see what they flesh it out with.
