Villa Romana del Salar

Due to the heat, it was not the best day to make a cultural visit to some Roman ruins, but it was the day we were granted entry, so we forgot about the heat and headed to the Salar, about 50 km from Granada,  to visit this Villa Romana del Salar.
It was really worth the effort - just check out  the extras.
There is also a little museum at the local Town Hall with a shop with all kind of merchandising about the Villa.
People in El Salar are really happy to have these ruins and are willing to put their little town in the map!
