Port Righ

The Gaelic name for Portree means King’s Harbour or Port. I have found that my daily Gaelic Duolingo lessons have helped me identify the occasional word but when we overheard a Gaelic conversation today I was none the wiser!
Overcast today but we seem to have escaped Storm Francis. We didn’t have any rain until 5.30pm and then it only lasted about half an hour.
It was supposed to be a quiet day after yesterday’s exertions but Mr P still managed to fit in 2 walks. One around the bay in the morning and then after lunch at Cafe Arriba in Portree (good recommendation by our neighbour Jim) a walk to Brothers’ Point; including another scary climb. No mishaps this time thankfully.
