Coole Park
This strange tree grows at Coole Park near Gort Co. Galway. Coole Park was the home of Lady Gregory and was visited by many literary figures of Ireland, many of whom carved their initials in the bark of a copper beech tree, which still stands in the walled garden today. There are many trails and walks in the estate, which is open the public. We enjoyed today there, meeting up with an old friend, Gwen.
