A little ray of sunshine

Soggy Seventeen

I could happily have not run this morning, the grey skies and heavy rain didn't look or sound welcoming from warm dry kitchen but I have a challenge to complete and really needed to get some miles in. I had no plan of where I was running, nor how far so set off in the direction of Bingley, avoided off roading, got soaked, sprinted passed a long deep puddle in the road before a car came by then opted for a canal/riverside return. By that point I'd given up running round puddles which was almost impossible on the tow path anyway! Final loop through Shipley, Northcliffe and around the houses and another 10.5 miles completed. Just 5 runs and 33.5 miles to go.

C had a soggy walk in Northcliffe this afternoon whilst J and I went to Bradford to collect the last bit of uniform we'd ordered and find him school shoes. That's it, we're all ready to go for September. I just hope they get good wear out of these shoes this time.
