Wet

Today is S’s birthday and we usually wander around town, go for coffee, see the Edinburgh Photographic Club’s exhibition and look at street performers. This year none of that is really on due to Covid-19 and to make it worse the weather today was absolutely foul with almost continuous rain. We decided to go down to Portobello and wander along the prom and maybe get an ice cream. However down on the coast the weather was even worse, so we only had a quick wander in full hill gear before deciding enough was enough and coming home. I took a couple of shots looking west so the lens wouldn’t get wet and quite liked the spoots of rain water coming from the drains on the prom; there were only 2 other mad souls about.
