twinned with trumpton

By MrFT

The forecast was for apocalyptic storms later in the day so with sunshine greeting us early in, we hit barrier 4 and then Grimness for the morning. Sand and seals and the therapeutic effects of the sound of the sea and the feeling of the wind rushing past.

We braved (and survived) Doull's and after lunch went to see the family. After a breezy stroll up the Eastside beach they arrived and I sat awhile and chatted to Martin; the cousins did their thing... exercise bike, bantam chicks, wifi, trampoline.

Then an evening as the wind and rain intensified.  The fire got lit, Old Pulteney was deployed.
