No hat-trick

After the excitement of the Friday Kingfisher and the Saturday Waxwings it was a bit unlikely that a third iconic bird would turn up today.

I searched for Lapwings in the sleet and rain but didn't have any luck and then a Robin came to the window.

The Robin looked great sitting on this log and kept returning to the same spot until I got my camera that is, then it cleared off to a different county :-)

Nice log though isn't it.
