Here we go again

Switched phone on to set an alarm for the morning, saw that the weather report screen saver said it was snowing. Pah, I thought, it's been raining all day. It'll never settle. Opened bedroom window... Seems I was wrong.

Thankfully I went to the shops this morning (a frankly heroic effort to be there for 9:30, on my own with the two littlies after a 1 a.m. bed time - mornings after have changed, I tell you!) and have bought the children some robust walking shoes ahead of our trip to Scotland next month. Think they may come in handy rather sooner than that...
