Hays Galleria Roof

No opportunity to get out of the flat today so a back blip from Monday.

Took this shot of the roof that encloses the old Hay's Wharf.

During Victorian Times, Hays Wharf was the landing and storage point for mainly dry goods. It included bonded warehouses for tea.

The area was heavily bombed during WWII but continued to trade up to the 1960's.

It has been coverted to a covered area of shops, bars and cafes.
