My City Wakes Up

Just a tinge of smoke

fires are still with us.

I'm up early for the weekly grocery shopping. Our local grocery stores have reserved the first hour of busines (7 AM - 8 AM) for seniors and I am very grateful for that time slot. Other than staff, I rarely encounter another person in the store while I'm pushing my cart around. 

We have a little haze in the air due to forest fires burning in the United States and in British Columbia. Luckily, we've been spared a great deal this summer as the weather has been cool and wet until very recently.
