...moany bums

I had a day off today so took the opportunity to spend the day with the kids before they’re back to school next week.
My sister was glad of a break as she’s still working from home and the end of the month is always hectic with the accounts.

As the weather hasn’t been that great, I decided on Barton Grange as they have the Flowerbowl entertainment centre; we booked for crazy golf.

We arrived early, so had a wander round the garden centre first, where they spied this giant panda.

Over at the crazy golf course, I declined the score card. This was a wise move as there was no way I could keep score with those two tinkers!!

Theia had a hissy fit that she didn’t get a hole in one every time; there was foot stamping, club whacking and ball throwing.
Theo was more stealth like with his cheating; using the club to push the ball into the hole.
Neither of them grasped the concept of taking turns and Theia took it upon herself to collect the balls, regardless of whether or not we’d finished playing the hole.
After all that, we were hungry so we went over to Laura’s ‘greasy spoon’ for pizza bagels and ice cream.

I’m absolutely shattered now, but happy that I got to spend the day with them :-)
