Beechwood Nature Reserve
I took Margaret over to meet some of her volunteer friends at the hospital in Fulbourn and while I waited for her I had a walk around the Beechwood Nature Reserve.
I wanted to try something new... When I started using large format film cameras I treated myself to a geared tripod head. this allows very precise adjustments when composing a photograph. It also allows very controlled movements during long exposures.
This photograph was made using f22 at ISO 50 and gave an exposure of 2.5 seconds. Using the timer I made the exposure and judged 1.5 seconds and then tilted the camera upwards. I took several and this is the best of them...
