Edwardian Elegance

Had coffee this morning at the Hotel Miramar on the Bournemouth Overcliff.  It was built in 1905 and was originally the weekend home of the Austrian ambassador.

The cheeky chappy in the lower photo actually flew onto our table and pinched a strawberry.  And I got stung by a wasp . . . !
There is, of course, a cruise ship in view behind the gull.
