A welcome visitor

Alistair came today.

He and I did a short walk along the village street. We went further than I had done since the operation and all was well.

We then sat in the garden and chatted over a cuppa.

He sat in the conservatory and chatted with Mum who was in her lounge (as seen above).

It's so good to see friends again after isolation.

I had good advice from the physio by phone. Basically I can walk as far as I wish, but need to watch out for overtiring Arth. I can start on my exercise bike once the clips come out.

I had an afternoon snooze, then cooked a small gammon joint for us with more of the beans from yesterday.

The ice pack was a great relief after all that walking.
