Barrow Wake

A fraught morning getting everything settled or handed over at work before heading off. Think I managed to get everything covered - guess I'll find out if I was successful when I get back.

Knowing that I wouldn't get to the Lake District until after dark, I took the opportunity to investigate a view point on the read between Swindon and the M5 I'd driven past a few times bet never been to. Turns out it's at the top of a high escarpment, so some great views across the landscape. Very misty and low cloud, so not the best of pictures - sorry! I do like the hill in the distance rising up like a little island though.
