Bit of a mouthful

Mimi got her braces fitted today. And she now finds that the wearing of a face mask is not that bad after all, since it masks the braces. 
The overbite will have something to chew on! She's determined and I don't give that overbite more than nine months before it falls into line. 
Then there'll be the train tracks...
For now massive amounts of drool are being produced but her elocution is not as bad as we had feared (given the size of the two braces designed to force her jaw into alignment). The fact that it has slowed down her normally hypersonic speech does actually help.
