Sutton Heath Heather

Not a very productive day after yesterdays events, but a walk in the fresh air lifted the spirits a little. 

The heather this year has been disappointing.  A very hot couple of spells have dried the ground and the heather significantly and only now after a bit of rainfall has the colour started to emerge on a few isolated specimens, this image of a bush being one of them.
