A Request Not A Description

This morning I met an old friend for brunch, we met when I was pregnant with Eldest as she was also pregnant with her eldest son. We where very close friends for many years until someone else came between us and although we didn’t fall out, our friendship definitely cooled. I messaged her on Monday to congratulate her son on his degree result and she suggested lunch today. It was nice to see her after what must be nearly a year and although I don’t think we’ll ever be as close again, it would be nice to see her more often.

This afternoon I was up at the yard to take China for another walk for his rehabilitation and again we were joined by Ali on Monty. Poor Monty, I hope he realised that the words “Wide And Slow” on Ali’s jacket were a request to drivers and not a description of his back end.
