Apple tree

The humans noticed that the tree was falling over. They think this was due to a combination of Apple weight, soft ground after lots of rain and high winds.
The only solution was to start removing branches and apples. Although it’s a bit early to pick the apples, they are a good size and taste ok.
There was much activity through the day, in between the rain showers. There was lots for me to sniff and many apples to lick!
Then there were all the branches. These were put on the patio to dry and will be shredded at a later point. But what a fab play area for me to explore.
Then in the evening my owners started pressing the apples to make cider. I think they will be doing this for the next few evenings. The picture shows most of the apples, but not all. And there is still another Apple tree in the garden but this is still upright so the apples can stay on the tree for a bit longer.
