Crow with walnut

The crow was busy pecking at something in the tree. I walked slowly towards it, a few steps at a time, taking a photo at each stop. It allowed me to get close enough for this photo just before it flew off. As I got closer I discovered it was eating a walnut. I have seen crows in our neighbourhood flying over the road with walnuts and dropping them on the road to crack them. There is a big walnut tree a couple blocks from where I live.
