1st for Food

This years baby Sparrows are very tame and hungry. I put meal worm out and sat with my camera for birds to appear : only this one !. Sneakily I reckon they were all waiting for the sound of my door closing before they appeared. I went in and instantly the gang of Blackbirds and Sparrows decended.

I'm at 1789 with Hilary Mantel as unrest in Paris activates . The price of bread rises. I understand that we'll have bread increases this Autumn cos of a poor harvest. 

I've washed and re-proofed my summer Mac ready to put away. I bet it gets warm again.
