Not The U3A Walk

For the first time since March I joined a walk with some of my U3A friends, though as the U3A is not sanctioning any such activities we had to call it the 'Not The U3A Long Walks Group'. Twelve of us set off from the old prison in Northleach. I walked to the prison from home so all in I did about 8 miles, the longest distance I have walked for ages, probably 40 years to be honest! The walk took in Yanworth Mill (main blip) and Yanworth church (extra). It was quite pleasant walking weather at the start, but we got pretty wet towards the end. Next week we have the 'Not The U3A Short Walks Group'.
