Murmuration

Starlings .. signs of the end of summer.  

Smoke is improving; it wasn't good in the morning, cleared up in the late afternoon to be as clean as it's been since before the fire started.  This morning (27th) is slightly thicker, but not nearly so bad.  Yellow circles on PurpleAir.  The fires are still burning. 

"The CZU Lightning Complex Fire in San Mateo and Santa Cruz counties grew slightly overnight to 81,330 acres and containment has increased to 21 percent. At least 646 structures have been destroyed and 23,000 are threatened. The forecast is calling for a drier marine layer, faster breezes and warmer afternoons. One of three people reported missing has been found safe." 
CA-1 CA-35, CA 84 and more minor roads are still closed in places.
