Balloon

Having a 3 year old daughter (going on 4) means that there is a continuous presence of inflated balloons around the house.

Your cannot pop them or dispose of them, when certain people are in bed, as you get the full interrogation the next day - even if you are certain that the balloon has been forgotten about.

The current balloon count in the house is two. This one was obtained from a car show room on 9 April 2007.

It will remain stuck to the ceiling for goodness knows how long until gradually it will sink, day by day, slowly to the floor and shrivel up (getting under our feet at this later stage, especially whilst cooking) - at which stage, and only then, will I be able to convince Fay that it can go in the bin!
