View from Hana Highway
No photo can do justice to the otherworldly landscapes we see on the island every day. Ocean is all around and if it's not immediately visible it's because of the luscious green forests. We drove few miles down the Hana Highway which goes around almost the entire island along the coastline. Stopped of and walked around a short nature trail which is surrounded by bamboo, eucalyptus and lots of other trees, with views across a deep valley and forests. It's truly stunning!
We had dinner at the famous Mama's Fish House. It has a view over the ocean. The food, mostly fish as you may have gathered, is gorgeous but very expensive. After two courses and a coffee, we swore to ourselves we'll be eating in the next few days!
A friend is joining us tomorrow for the next two weeks. More yoga, surfing, sun bathing on the cards!
