Prickly and in pain

Today was a great day, but I am in great pain!  I met with the specialist and he ordered more xrays and an MRI, which his facility was able to do right then!  Amazing!   

The verdict is surgery, which is not unexpected and at this point in time very welcome.  We had a meeting of the minds and scheduled the surgery for October.  

I also had a chance to meet with my attorney.  Wow! What a great guy!  I don't think I have ever said that about an attorney (no offense to the attorneys out there).  I am very impressed with what he is doing with my case.  And I certainly appreciate all of the work he went to get me in to see this specialist.  

On my way back to the airport, I walked past a lovely little garden with some pretty dahlias.  

With all of the pushing, pulling and bending of my shoulder and holding it in a painful position for 45 minutes while we did the MRI, I am in pain.  Thankfully, the airport had one little restaurant still open and I could get something to eat and a double.  In spite of the pain, however, the trip was a total success!
