Abstract a Thursday - Homemade

I remember my mother being excited when she purchased what was at the time a very expensive sewing machine.  Not having any interest in sewing (as she always told me I was rubbish!) I couldn’t understand the enthusiasm!  She made lots of sample pieces for school to show the embroidery capabilities of the machine, and also made some coasters for home which I now use under various ornaments.  This is one of them, faffed about with  a “multi” effect for Abstract Thursday.  Supermarket delivery today, then had to wait for the mobile tyre fitter - such excitement at the moment, haha.  Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.
