Lock down poppy

Back home today to see The Dadski.  We were treated to this beautiful Poppy being out in the front garden.  During lock down, when we were allowed to ‘bubble’ I took my mum to her local garden centre for a socially distanced look around.  We found these poppy plants, but they had been slightly frost damaged.  Therefore, every bud they produced turned black before it could open.  This one, however, managed it and isn’t it beautiful?
