Well and truly out

The Golden Rod plant seemed to be green for such a long time, but is now lighting up a dull day.  It got a bit battered and is waving around a lot.

Friend came round with some sewing jobs for me to do and we had a good natter, comparing our teenage years!  Lots of laughs about how different they were from those of our grandchildren.  

Her husband has a significant birthday on Thursday but it will have to be a very low key celebration.
