It has been a blustery, changeable day today. Showers and sunshine have alternated but the sunshine has been fairly elusive.

I managed a walk this afternoon and delivered a card to Pat, whose husband Graham died recently. We were able to attend his funeral online. It was very moving and we wanted Pat to know we had been there. She came out and chatted, still shell shocked, but getting on with things. They were married for 54 years.

Too much rhetoric and not enough substance for me at the moment, but perhaps I'm impatient for change.
