Tree in the evening sun

A bright sunny day

After 3 days of rain we finally had sunshine. On two of the days I managed to walk 5 miles so brought me to within 2 miles of my target of 100 miles for August.

However, one of the men in the church had arranged to come round to fix our large fence, which had been tipping over badly. He did a great job and it is stronger now that it had ever been since it was built.

Afterwards, I only went to post a card which entailed a walk of .83 of a mile lol So, I think I will manage to the remaining 1.2 miles by Monday - and possibly even more!

The tree was in a neighbour’s garden and looked very good in the evening sun.

Just getting ready for a family Quiz night over Zoom - so fun in store.
