We got a bit wet

Bailey has beaten his sleeping record today: he was still asleep on the bed at four o'clock even though I had been up to him three or four times before that. I'd not been anywhere either and me working was obviously of no interest to him. I got two fairly big jobs ticked off the list, spent a while  on the phone talking through someone else's workload, responded to umpteen emails and booked Bailey into the vets for his annual check up and vaccinations. 

By four, I'd decided he really needed to get up and go for a walk even though it was chucking it down by then. Bailey was still looking pretty damp quite some time later.
