Crieff Highland Gathering cowch

This sculpture in the middle of Crieff caught my eye as I thought that it was a very playful use of the of the word "cowch". It is by the artist and sculptor June McEwan who has used the Highland Gathering tartan along with images from the Highland games to produce this amusing result. There are a number of these cowches which will be auctioned off at the end of the Crieff Cowches project and all profits will be donated to Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) to try to raise enough money for a second helicopter.
