The Dukes of Hazzard

I found this young man spray painting a metal ‘up and over’ metal door, using aerosol cans of paint, this afternoon
........this was no random graffiti street artist.....
But rather a special commission!

He was painting  a bright orange car,   a ‘69 Dodge Charger ....with the No1. emblazoned on its side.......
which I now know,  was called.  The General Lee...
the  Confederate flag was painted on its roof....

I know next to nothing about this cult 1960-70s cult American  TV series..........The Dukes of Hazzard.....
about  the same vintage as The Knight Rider, and The A Team

And why it should be being painted .....on a metal door....about a block from the sea front, in Benidorm?

Perhaps someone might be able to offer some suggestions??...

I’ll keep an eye on it....and watch to see what develops...
