Sunbeams

Walking out of the door, heat hits you like a sledgehammer and within minutes sweat begins without any effort involved at all. Rain forecast, but never arrives. Towards days end, clouds form and the sky darkens. Hope for a break in the weather and cooler days to come. But still nothing, the sun continues to blast from behind the clouds casting a fan of sunbeams upward into the sky.

At least the cloud shapes make an interesting photo.
