Life on the Plains

I pass by this mural frequently and always think I should blip it.  It was just slightly out of my way to the grocery store and I didn't have any other ideas, so today is the day. :-)

They just said on the news that it is 21 degrees (F) cooler than yesterday at this time.  It's the first day since June that we haven't turned on the A/C.  It's so nice to have the windows open!  Rain is on the way for us but it is already raining on the fire closest to us.  Hopefully, that will help the firefighters get ahead of it!  

I am grateful that my brother's surgery went very well this morning and he was doing well enough to go home this afternoon. :-)))
