Tree surgery

Another rubbish day here. It is bitterly cold with a biting wind. Monday is maintenance day and I would have preferred to stay inside today. We decided to do some work on a very old willow that is beginning to interfere with the BT phone lines. The tree is also quite rotten in places.

You can see Paul in the tree assessing where to begin. It took a couple of hours in all. Now its finished, we have to decide what to do after lunch.
