THAT DULCIMER...

...has got its new rosewood fingerboard complete with frets & mother-of-pearl dots.

Banging in the frets was a right nightmare because although the fingerboard looks very strong - it's hollow in order to minimise weight & maximise volume.

When you hammer in a new fret the violent rebound causes the last ones to leap out! To get around this I had to superglue each one in place before proceeding to the next...

This pain will be added to the bill!!
