Weather or not

We had some unexpected snow this morning. Quite a lot of it, really heavy and blizzard-like at times, but it was the wet variety and has nearly all dissipated now.

In other news the boys have YET ANOTHER half day off school today. A friend of mine reckons the disproportionate number of them that we've had lately is due to the school being an academy and able to do whatever takes its fancy. Whatever the reason is, it feels like they're spending more time at home than at school at the moment, which can't be right!
