Lightning Oak

Everything aches today; I don't know why. But I do sympathise with this fellow, who is hanging on despite the massive blast damage he's sustained. 

There is always a risk, being the biggest tree in the forest, that someone will notice.

Despite the aches and pains, we took ourselves off for a 10km wander through the local woodland, which is where I saw this guy. Message of the day, don't be a dry old stick... 

...but now I think I need another paracetamol...
