Reflections
Day 158 of COVID-19 UK lockdown (opening up)
I met up with RobBris50 at 5.45am at Cumberland Basin to photograph a glorious sunrise which never materialised. I did see the lovely colourful reflections on the harbour, so a nice consolation.
Leaving Bristol about 8am, I took the scenic route home via Chepstow and the lovely Wye Valley route through Tintern to Monmouth, where I dropped off a tv to a person who bought it last night; a nurse, it was good to chat about the NHS and local changes due this winter.
After a couple of jobs Mrs BB had planned for me, we had a look around Ross on Wye town centre (very busy with the sun shining) and enjoyed a coffee. We, then visited granddaughter Amelia before they head off Monday for a caravan break in Devon as their cruise to celebrate the daughters 40th birthday was cancelled earlier in the year.
