On a day of damp, windy weather when the first's game at Alwoodley got called off because of a waterlogged pitch. I would otherwise have been condemned to a very cold afternoon (the temperature was supposed to not get above 11 deg) but it was still very disappointing. 

I went looking for a photograph at the end of the day and found this lovely couple. I keep getting drawn to towards people with dogs these days. I'm beginning to understand it - which is not to say I will have one of my own. Being a  dog-grandad is plenty demanding enough!
