HOLE IN THE GROUND

Despite the weather, there was a hole that needed digging, looking into, inspecting and making a phone call about. The scene was much the same an hour later when I came back, but as all the traffic lights were out on that junction it was probably quite complicated.

Meanwhile down at the Marina was a reminder that this is the North-East where they're made of sterner stuff (extra), despite the fact that most of us were wearing coats, boots, hats etc to ward off the 30mph northerly wind!
