Wake up and smell the coffee !

Monday morning walking group turned out to be just Jane and me. Missing the others who all had other commitments today we cheered ourselves up with a four and a half mile walk down into town, along the front, back up through the gardens and back along the road to our village. We stopped after a couple of miles at a new coffee shop that opened six months ago. What a find ! "Amid Giants & Idols" is run by a Pippi Longstocking lookalike whose knowledge of coffee and coffee making has recently made her 4th best barista in the country ! Although she says this accolade is premature as its only the first heat but we were impressed ! Squidgy sofas and a lounge like cosiness were just the things for a break on what was a very chilly walk !
