A surprise gift

I came home with this little beauty last night!

It was apparently made and unwanted by one of Drummond's pupils. Since the man has been retired for about 20 years and has kept it all that time, I was chuffed to bits that he chose to pass it on to me, knowing how much I love ceramics.

You can't tell from this, but it is a bowl, about 10"/25cm in diameter.

I love it!
